Master of Medical Laboratory Technology (MMLT)

MMLT at SRK University lets BMLT graduates specialize in one of four diagnostic laboratory disciplines — Biochemistry, Microbiology, Haematology, or Histopathology — each carrying equal 5-seat intake since the programme launched in 2024. This is SRK’s newest postgraduate paramedical qualification, extending the university’s laboratory sciences pipeline from DMLT and BMLT through to a full postgraduate degree.

Each specialization builds deep technical expertise in its diagnostic domain — Histopathology graduates move toward tissue and biopsy analysis roles, while Microbiology graduates specialize in culture and infection diagnostics increasingly critical to hospital infection control. This positions MMLT graduates for senior lab technologist, lab supervisor, or teaching roles beyond what BMLT alone typically qualifies for.

Students train through specialization-specific laboratory work at hospital-affiliated diagnostic labs, closing the gap between technical certification and lab management or academic career paths within Madhya Pradesh’s growing diagnostics sector.
