MPT at SRK University lets BPT graduates specialize in one of three physiotherapy areas — Orthopaedics, Obstetrics & Gynaecology, or Cardiothoracic — each carrying equal 5-seat intake since the programme launched in 2023. This makes MPT SRK’s newest postgraduate paramedical qualification, building directly on the university’s BPT undergraduate cohort.
Orthopaedic Physiotherapy is the most commonly pursued specialization nationally given the high volume of musculoskeletal and sports-injury cases, while Cardiothoracic Physiotherapy addresses growing demand tied to cardiac and respiratory rehabilitation. Obstetrics & Gynaecology Physiotherapy is a more specialized track focused on women’s health and pre/post-natal rehabilitation — a less commonly offered specialization at many institutions in Madhya Pradesh.
Students train through advanced clinical postings at hospital-affiliated physiotherapy departments, building specialization-specific assessment and treatment expertise beyond general BPT-level practice, positioning graduates for senior clinical or teaching roles.

MPT graduates from SRK University pursue roles as senior physiotherapists, clinical specialists, and physiotherapy faculty, based on their chosen specialization.
Semester 1 covers Advanced Physiotherapy Assessment and Research Methodology, common across specializations.
