Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech)

B.Tech at SRK University trains students across nine engineering disciplines — from core branches like Civil and Mechanical to specialized tracks like Electronics & Instrumentation. The programme has grown steadily since its first branches launched in 1995, adding Computer Science (1996), Information Technology (2001), and newer disciplines through 2012, reflecting the university’s response to shifting industry demand.
Bhopal’s growing IT and infrastructure sector — anchored by the state’s industrial corridors and a expanding base of engineering employers — gives SRK’s B.Tech students access to internships and placements without leaving Madhya Pradesh. Labs, workshops, and faculty are shared across branches under one Faculty of Engineering, so students benefit from cross-disciplinary exposure alongside their chosen specialization.
Admission is branch-wise: students select their engineering discipline at the time of application, and seats are allotted per branch based on the intake shown in the table below.
